Antique Japanese painting from fusuma in sumi, colors and gesso on gold leaf applied paper, a detail mounted as two panel folding screen (byōbu) on wooden frames with paper hinges, textile border and lacquered molding, depicting chrysanthemums (kiku) growing about a wattle fence (shibakaki) nestled behind a hill framed by a billowing cloud.
