Antique Japanese six panel folding screen (byōbu) in sumi, colors and gold dust (dei) on gold leaf applied paper, with paper hinges, textile border and lacquered molding, depicting autumn landscape with a flock of egrets (sagi) on and about a boat pulled up along a rocky shoreline, the scene punctuated by a stately pine, budding plum tree, bamboo and reeds.
