Two panel Japanese screen (byōbu) on wooden frames with paper hinges, textile border and lacquered molding, from shoheiga featuring scattered fans (senmen chirashi) - variously painted in sumi, colors and gold on paper and dating from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries – mounted in harimaze manner on silver leaf (ginpaku) applied paper ground.
