Antique Japanese two panel folding screen (byōbu) in sumi, colors, gold dust (dei) and flecks of gold leaf (sunago) on paper, with paper hinges, textile border and wooden molding, depicting  flowers and grasses of the four seasons including camellias (tsubaki),  peonies (botan), iris (kakitsubata), narcissus (suisen), cherry (sakura), Chinese bellflowers (kikyo),  lilies (yuri, alternately hiogi), chrysanthemums (kiku), flowering bush clover (hagi), patrinia (ominaeshi), pinks (nadeshiko), eulalia grass (susuki, alternately obana) and water lilies (suiren); the scene punctuated by hills and mist.
