Very fine antique Japanese six panel folding screen (byōbu) in sumi, colors and flecks of gold leaf (sunago) on paper, depicting autumn flowers and grasses (akikusa), including pampas grass (susuki, alternately obana), flowering bush clover (hagi), Chinese bellflowers (kikyo) and patrinia (ominaeshi).
