Antique Japanese two panel folding pillow screen (makura byōbu) in sumi, colors and squares of gold leaf (kinpaku) on paper, with wooden molding, depicting autumn blossoming plants, including althea (mokuge), mistflower (fujibakama), blue bellflowers (kikyo) and chrysanthemums (kiku).
